About IP Address Lookup

Looks up geolocation, ISP/organization, timezone, postal code, and coordinates for any IPv4 address. Also detects your own public IP with one click. Data is fetched via a server-side API route backed by ipapi.co, so the client IP is captured accurately even behind CDNs.

  • Supports arbitrary IP lookups (e.g. 8.8.8.8) and automatic client IP detection
  • Server-side proxy ensures accurate client IP capture behind CDNs and load balancers
  • Returns city, region, country, ISP/org, timezone, postal code, and lat/lng coordinates
  • Quick-try buttons for Google DNS, Cloudflare, OpenDNS, and Quad9
  • Copy any individual field to clipboard

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the location shown not match my actual address?
IP geolocation is approximate — it maps your IP to your ISP’s routing infrastructure, which may be in a different city or even state. If you are on a VPN, it will show the VPN server’s location. For mobile connections, the location often reflects the nearest cell tower hub.
Can I look up any IP address?
Yes. Enter any public IPv4 address in the input field. Private/reserved ranges (10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x, etc.) will return minimal data since they are not routable on the public internet.
