Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Privacy
WebToolNexus is built with privacy as the default. The vast majority of our tools run entirely in your browser with no server communication whatsoever.
We have no user accounts, no databases storing your inputs, and no tracking. A small number of tools require external service calls to function (you can't do a DNS lookup locally) — these are disclosed in Section 1b below.
1. How Our Tools Work
The majority of tools on WebToolNexus operate using client-side JavaScript in your browser:
- Processing happens locally on your device
- No data is stored or logged by us
- No cookies or tracking scripts are used
- No user accounts or profiles exist
1b. Tools That Use External Services
A small number of tools require network requests to function — for example, looking up a DNS record or fetching live exchange rates cannot be done locally. These tools send only the specific input needed for the request and nothing else.
Some of these requests pass through our serverless API proxy hosted on Microsoft Azure. We do not log, store, or retain any request data. Others go directly from your browser to a third-party service, in which case that service's own privacy policy applies.
2. Hosting & Traffic Metrics
WebToolNexus is hosted and served via Cloudflare's Content Delivery Network (CDN). Cloudflare may collect basic traffic metrics including:
- IP addresses (for routing and security)
- Request timestamps and URLs
- Browser user agents
- Basic performance metrics
This data is collected and managed by Cloudflare, not by us. For details on how Cloudflare handles data, see their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
3. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
