About Private HAR Analyzer

Opens HTTP Archive files in the browser so cookies, authorization headers, query strings, request bodies, and captured responses are not uploaded to a third-party viewer. The analyzer validates the HAR structure, summarizes requests and transfer size, renders per-request timing phases, reconstructs redirect chains, and exposes the exact headers and body text stored in the file.

  • Rejects files above 25 MB or HAR logs above 20,000 entries before rendering them.
  • Renders at most 500 matching table rows at once while filters still search the full loaded log.
  • Uses the response body and header sizes recorded in the HAR rather than estimating network bytes.
  • Does not upload, persist, share, or transmit any part of the selected file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are HAR files sensitive?
A HAR can include session cookies, authorization headers, tokens in URLs, submitted form values, and complete response bodies. Treat it like a diagnostic capture containing credentials.
Why can the transferred total differ from developer tools?
The analyzer sums the bodySize and headersSize values recorded by the HAR producer. Browsers may omit, compress, or report some sizes as unavailable.
